The Doctor of English Literature (PhD) objective
is to help students explore numerous approaches
to literary study and a diversity of literary
areas or periods as a prelude to their own
advanced individualized research. The English
Literature program areas of study include:
Comparative Literature, Commonwealth Literature,
American Studies, Humanities, Modern Thought
and Literature, Composition Studies, Cultural
Studies, and Rhetoric. The English Literature
program is designed to advance the professional
development of experienced english literature
graduates and professionals in the english
literature arena by extending their knowledge
and equipping them with broad research and
process english literature skills, enabling
them to make a key leadership contribution
to their chosen fields.
AIU’s Doctorate degree in English
Literature goes one step further by allowing
students to study and research multiple
key areas of computer science to develop
a unique foundation of practical knowledge
and computer science theory.
